Thursday-April 21, 2011-Good Solid Workout-Nothing Extra

Today was one of those days where the workout was rather "ordinary." I simply got it done! No highs, no lows.  I worked the abs pretty hard, but then again, I try to work pretty hard every day! LOL! The planche training went well. The 50 second tuck planches also went well. I had no problems completing them. I went outside and completed my 3-mile run. After yesterday's leg training, I wanted to make sure that the legs would not be overtaxed today. I set a pretty good, but not overly challenging pace, turned up the mp3 player and got it done. I finished in 19:15 (6:25 mile pace). I'm not unhappy with the run considering I did not push too hard. This was just one of those good solid workouts---nothing extra, as the old folks around here say. LOL!

Tomorrow I will finish up the week with the back workout, 350 push-ups, plyometrics, and a 2-mile run. Hopefully, I will feel the spark tomorrow! I suspect I stayed up too late last night hanging out with nephew #3! One hates not to spend time with them when they come to visit. They are growing up so fast. I will make sure that I get plenty of rest tonight.

Wishing everyone a great Thursday!
