Today's leg workout was very satisfying! Although I dearly HATE the exercises that I have for this particular leg workout---squat thrusts and quad squats---I jumped into them with gusto! I guess perhaps, because I got off to a great start this morning. Everything in the morning routine was completed on time and I got to hit the workout early. While things aren't optimal right now in a lot of areas, perhaps the toughness of those 3 sets of 40 squat thrusts helped me to focus and put things in perspective and realize that all of the difficulties I've seen will soon pass. Just as we push through a set of exercises that we HATE and we KNOW ultimately that they are good for us, so is all of the trials and tribulations with family. I won't get bogged down here, but suffice it to say that I feel a bit better than I have in a couple of weeks. I, once again, thank all of my friends for your kind blog and page comments. They DO HELP!
Anyway, the leg workout was short, tough and sweet! I hit the 3-mile interval run and in spite of the slightly cool air, I worked up a pretty good sweat! After that I took the dog out for his midday romp, showered, and ate a good meal. So I get to blog a little earlier today. A little later I go back to writing the introductions for my page chapters (5 of 10 are done) and then with the exception of the introductory blog, acknowledgement, and table of contents I'm DONE! With all that's been going on, I've slowed down, but have not given up on getting this book done.
Tomorrow, would have normally been my 300 workout day, but I'm running a day behind on the schedule. So I hit planche training, abs, and a 3-mile run. The 300 workout will be completed on Sunday, with planche training on Monday. If I feel like it, I may complete a double to get back on track to finish the cycle on next Friday. I KNOW I did not feel like a double this week!

and work on the book!
