now time to cut , but don't want to lose mass gained during bulking

 after a sucessful 1 year bulking program I was able to put on a good amount of mass. now I want to cut to get lean again and have abs for the summer before bulking again in the winter. My biggest fear is that in the cutting process I will lose my gains. so far so good. after a 5 lbs lost in 8 days still maintaining the strenght and the size. what happens a few months from now?

  2 weeks ago injured my finger which required 6 stitches. So this mishap would cause me not to be able to do lifting for my upper body.Ok thought about the situation, and since I have been going hard for the last 2 years without any kind of break (OTHER THAN THE 2 DAY REST BETWEEN BODYPARTS) said to myself Ok this is the way that I will be able to take a week off and let my body recover for a week. coming Full Circle

 My fitnness lifestyle came about when 1 day I stepped on the scale and found myself at 205 lbs. That was the heaviest that I had weighed in my 46 YEARS of life. Once slim and fit and like others later in my life let myself go. Took a look and accessed what was happening in my life and decided the excessive beer drinking and non active life had to go and the changed needed to come soon.
